Last WC couldnt muster1 win in Brazil and could only manage 3 draws which is a pretty lousy effort for the AFC
Still need to get to 4 wins to match 2010 results
Important we do well in this WC and next WC to maximise chances of increased spots when it expands to 48 in 2026
Mind you I think we can just write the Saudis off and it going to be hard for Iran to get more wins

Disappointed for Morocco. They're an interesting team to watch with a few very skilful players but just don't have the x-factor to go a step further. Portugal were garbage.
I really like Amrabat, the right winger. I think I saw him play for Watford last season or the season before, and he was very good at causing his defender problems and creating chances.
