Absolute grub. And not even in the "it would be ok if he was OUR grub" sense.

If by some turn of events the Jets were to sign this sorry excuse for a human, I would tear up my membership.

As soon as I seen that tackle by Santa I immediately said red. I still think it should have been, mind you I walked out of the room so didn't see any replays.

Just saw the highlights on foxsports.

That tackle from Santalab is a red every day of the week & twice on Sunday.

    Was about a week late.

How can it be a red card when he plays for the club that invented football ?
They get away with too much at WSW and it doesn't look like changing anytime soon.
Can the review panel look into it ?

I don't believe so (but could be wrong) because the referee took action on the field

    He was given yellow.

That was a terrible challenge. Typical of that wsw lot. Also the wry smile on his face after nearly breaking jimmy, he meant it too.

Does anyone else see a link between the brand of football WSW play and the behavior of their fans ? If things aren't going their way WSW tend to always revert to dirty shit and given they rarely if ever get punished for it why would they stop. Same applies to their fans I guess.

I thought Santalab ripping a flare as he lunged into the tackle was surely a red but I heard the ref say he one one more chance but next time he was really gonna get cross.

I wonder if the FFA will take any action for this display of inciting violence / aggression towards the crowd from a player ?

    Business as usual I suppose.

They were going to kick Adelaide off the park from the first minute. Clisby's tackle was evidence of that. The ref showed for most of the game he was going to let them play dirty too, especially when he pulls Lustica up and says no more, then a few minutes Lustica pulls someone down which could have been a yellow on its own, let alone straight after a warning, and he gets nothing. The refs must have had a talking to after the cardfest in the Melb-Bris game in Rd1 and now they've gone too far the other way.

Card fest? Was the same ref for both games and he let two bad tackles on Bozanic go unpunished last week. One of them was studs directly to ankle by Borello I think and I don't even remember it being a foul.
