Typical comment from youngster/new dawner who really believes red and blue are the city's football colours with no idea of what went on in the 120 years beforehand.....

Cricket is the same now - you see teenage boys at 20/20 and they have no idea who Bradman is..

I know red and blue aren't the cities football colours. I've supported the club since 2006 when I started following football. I know the history of the green, I just found it weird considering its so different to any other strip (colourwise) we've had since the dawn of the A-League

    Looked sensational imo

Should be the home, away and third strip

Everyone else can work around it

Thought it was nice. Then I saw it in XXXXXXXXXXXXX-L. Perhaps its an average sized persons shirt?

Why is watching us in our proper footballing colours inauthentic?

Would love an expalianation of this thought.

So they can pick it up as easily as possible in a fast moving environment. In AFL Hawthorn are a good example of this, brown and yellow stripes but a large white box for the black number to be easily seen.

Have to agree on the socks... that is just an odd design with little meaning or visual design quality.
Clearly (not really) not an issue for the WSW away.
Can't see the numbers at all on red and white hoops. Horrid for TV

    I thought it looked, ok.

Not sold on Green as the primary colour for the playing strip, particularly one that is so close to the grass. Not sure if it was just due to the TV camera angles but at times it made it more difficult to identify players etc, not sure if it would have an impact on the pitch.

I felt it was a bit like it wasn't the Jets, because I'm not used to watching them play in green. Inauthentic was probably the wrong word

Ok, so not only do Brisbane's away kits look like training kits, they also have some ridiculous built-in orange undershirts

Black shorts with their away kit really doesn't suit them IMO. Ok kit just would look alot better with orange shorts.

We will win a game on the basis of Match Fixing at the minimum.

Soon enough our odds will be that big to not take advantage of it and someone will set the bookie sting up and clean up

Popped up on twitter yesterday that Jets are ditching ISC to go with a new supplier.
And its not Adidas/Nike/Kappa, described as "left field" by Jimmy Gardiner

Does that mean the Knights would too? God I hope it's not Kooga or some rubbish.

I'd consider Kappa "left-field" tbh. Although I know CCM have been really disappointed with them, and are changing next season to an Adidas/Nike.

I'd consider the big ones to be Adidas & Nike, with nearly as big being Puma & Umbro.

Some Lotto kits I've seen have been pretty tidy. Macron have done great with Perth.

As long as we keep an E&C kit, and as long as management actually look into a gold keepers kit as opposed to CCM yellow, I'll be happy.

TBH I hated on ISC until this season, but I am really impressed with what they did design-and-material-wise for the e&c kit. I wouldn't have been greatly unhappy if we stuck with them. I assume the move is because we sold way more jerseys than ISC expected, and Jets HQ have found a better $$ deal elsewhere.

left field is a pretty broad term and frankly rather annoying as far as attempting to guess

it could be anyone from the butcher who put together Lady Gaga's meat dress to Topper to Hot Tuna to Canterbury to Gorilla Sports

knowing how cheap the club have been so far I think the high water mark of the green isn't likely to be bettered
