also, go vote on the herald's website - once each from your phone, work computer, home computer etc etc

this could almost make up for them being such ****s for the past few seasons

Of the three I prefer grey, though none of them make me go "wow". That said, I don't watch soccer anyhow so doesn't worry me.

Quote: "The strip also takes inspiration from the away kit worn by Liverpool FC, former Club of Jets marquee striker Emile Heskey, during 1999/00 English Premier League season".....that would have to be one of the most riduculous comments I've ever heard. Read it over a couple of times and you realise what tossers are in charge of this club. To say that your kit is inspired by the kit of your Marquees former club 13 years ago!!!
having said that I like the emerald/cinnamon and will probably go out and buy one if it wins the poll. The colours truly represent Newcastle and our football heritage going back to KB United in the late 70's/early 80's unlike the red and blue colours of the Knights which were forced onto this club.

Last I looked Newcastle United in the NSL played in blue and red. The Breakers also played in Blue and Red.

One could also make the argument Tinks by taking us to the blue and red went back to our traditional colours

Can hear the Gumby chants loud and strong if the green/brown combo gets up. Always hated the Newcastle colours.

Wish they went with a replica of the KB kit, with gold letters and numbers, all they need to do is use a black edge instead of that awful white they tried at first, the black would make it stand out much better on any colour, basically switch the white for gold.

Hope they get the green to match KB's, don't want it to match the Liverpool green.

Didn't the move to red and blue back in NSL days coincide with a "we aren't hugely successful, let's try and grab some of the knights popularity by using the same colours as them" style decision?

    It's gotta be green.
Will stop WSW fappng over 1000 traveling fans to Melbourne.

If we play Heart next year wearing green we can claim 15,000 traveling supporters.
