    TALKING POINTS:
    Memorable Match - 3/3/2012. Round 22, Season 2011/12
    • The Jets were on a good run in 2012, having lost only once in 6 matches. Facing a Victory team boasting Harry Kewell, the Jets struck after 20 minutes through Ryan Griffiths. Kewell converted a controversial penalty on 24 minutes before youngster Jacob Pepper popped up and scored a double in 9 minutes before half time to give the Jets a 3-1 lead. This would be the final score and continue the Jets mid-season revival and run to the finals.

    • The team is also more disciplined under Jones, having the received only 1.4 bookings per match. Only Nick Theodorakopoulos' team received fewer (1.14 per match)

We always do well against Victory, even thought we outplayed them in the FFA cup long may it continue

Even Stubbins beat Victory in Melbourne - must be a chance.

    It will be ugly.
Victory are due against us, they have had a week off and I got a call from Jones today looking for players as there are so many injured.

Stubbins is probably a better coach than Jones though

6-1 to Melbourne Victory. Too many key players either injured, unfit, out of form, or just simply too shit for this level of competition will see the Jets being schooled by the Victory for 90mins.
Berisha will have a field day up against Fyfe.

Don't forget the coach leaving the best midfielder on the bench again

1-0 win or 6-0 loss you heard it here first. If we lose it will down to no pressure being put on opposition when they have the ball as is the problem every ****ing week

if Hoole wants to be a hero how about he steps up for this match, starting with keeping the ball moving (**to our own players, not theirs), and trying to get it up to Morten
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...
