He is just a w@#k of a bloke and he wasn't as good as people make him out to be. Watch him play in an England Jersey and you can see how mediocre he really was when relied upon. 10 world cup games, zero goals or assists. And you can't say he didn't have anyone decent playing in the team with him. He was a very good player, but he isn't a Scholes, Viera, Keane, Makelele level midfielder.
Mostly I just don't want to imagine how much of a wankfest it'll be if he somehow gets Derby promoted. (Although it would be great to see him sacked after 3 months of loses.)
Side note: If Villa get promoted that Gypo won't be with them. He doesn't even play for them now, other than penalty shootouts. He has started 2 games since October last year. So I can take him out of the Villa situation in my own mind. I just assume Elmohandy grew his beard longer and can't run anymore.

Villa should be in the Premier League, so should other big clubs
but the thing is, and this probably happens for most of us, I feel that the clubs who were in the top flight when I first got into football (around the time of the change to the Premier League), should be in the Premier League now - your Sheffield Wednesday, Coventry, Leeds etc
David Squires actually goes on about this feeling in one of his books, only he says it in a way that's clearer and far funnier than the way I just did - if I could be bothered I'd look through them and find it
