Edgy 0-0 Maitland. On the whole, Edgy created more but Maitland spurned the best chance of the game. Missed from about 10 yards right in front with only the keeper to beat. Hard fought point for both sides.

its obvious club officials- lack some smarts when deciding this, play only 1 game or split mid week, very little patrons turn up and they choose to watch on Bartv.
clubs need to stop being precious with there grass, its not like any are world class facilities to start with.

May sound like sour grapes but check the ball and all tackle deemed a penalty by Cameron Hughes, then check the handball by Comerford INSIDE the box awarded free kick on the edge of the box . About 53rd and 82nd minute on Bar TV in the Azzurri v Maitland game.......pleassssse, but life goes on, congratulations Maitland.

You can generally get the feel of a penalty call from the immediate p;ayers reactions .
One [1] only Maitland player made a 1/2 hearted appeal . The Azzurri boys were all livid .
Then at the other end , the replays clearly show Comerford inside the box , all the Maitland players urged that it was outside , the ref put it 1' outside .
Two very very poor decisions , in an otherwise tight game , where Maitland probably had the best of it .
I wonder what happens inside referee land , does someone actually look at this , especially with the benefir of BAR TV , and perhaps coach from the vision . Would probably much better than the " training session " they run , which is almost comical .

BAR TV is a great part of the modern game at this level .
Well used by Coaches , Players , and those who may not be able to get to a game , area away , or infirmed .
I just wonder if the Referees use it ?

The guy who officiated Maitland v Azzurri , is probably an " identified " young referee.
But the theatrics shown reminds me of Mr Nash & Mr Gallagher , surely we don't need another version of them .
Maybe they think BAR TV is all about promoting themselves , rather than an educational tool . Remembering that the member clubs actually pay for it .
Was at the game and was close to the Maitland pen. Agree definitely not a pen. Was too far away from Azzurri hand ball one though and haven't seen bartv. These things tend to even out Over the season though - but agree Maitland a bit better on night
