Lambton were questioned above in a thread - good example as any for the discussion.
Big budget for 1st grade and doing really well.
    How many are Lambton Juniors?
Where are their 20/s and below on the respect tables?
Their U13's are basically made up Newcastle Rep players from last year.
    Sustainable pathway?
Follow a similar line of thought for the other clubs.
When I refer to "buying clubs" I am not saying they are buying juniors right through to 1st grade - but questioning are they developing their own? or relying on players from elsewhere coming in to fill their stocks throughout the age groups.
If a Club only has a very small number of Junior teams (12's and down) supporting NPL - where are their 13's coming from and so on.

Why is everyone so concerned about NPL club juniors?

Kids at all ages have been poached or taken to "better clubs" forever. You be lucky to find a 1 club junior.

1st grade clubs try to develop to certain extent and some do it better than others but they are not expected to bring through the next generation NPL players. I like seeing small clubs training up future top seniors.

Where is it written that NPL clubs are meant to develop players from Under 6's?
They don't have the resources, grounds or capabilities to do that.

NPL clubs should take responsibility for developing players once they enter their junior system (whether that be 13s or 18s) but not before.
The zones run their own elite programs for high achieving kids under the age of 12 - and so they should given the cut of rego money that the zones take.

Some clubs develop their youth players better than others and there are a whole range of reasons why. A lot comes down to the quality of the coaching staff and also what they focus on at training. Coaching from the curriculum is fine but coaches should not be afraid to encourage some individual flair as well.

Zones will soon be irrelevant in youth development... next NPL agreement period premier clubs (NPL and ZL) will pick up SAP programs like most other NPL's have... So will be SAP-U9,10,11,12... NPL YTH- U13,14,15,16... NPL SNR- U18,20,NPL

Big news I'm hearing a prominent coach has been shown the door already. Very interesting I wonder if he has a job lined up for next yr already?

Interesting, coaches team coming last and jumps into another job straight away. Let's reward that. Yeah history does play a part there.

    Bolch to Ado?

CT's was awful IMO. Smith's was reasonable. I am not sure why Bart didn't put one in. the segment felt a touch weird to me with him not putting in a team (unless he put one in later in the show?).

I have no doubt which team would win but Matt Trott picked as starting GK over Cavalier and Kelly?
