I believe it's only Wallsend V Garden Suburb to be played and I've received no word from Wallsend.

    Westlakes vs Charlestown
    Thirds 0-2
    Res 0-1
    1sts 2-0

Competitive in every grade. 2 red cards for Charlestown in first grade killed that game.

Barnsley surprise of the year so far...
    4-1
    4-0
    4-0

Pretty impressive start to the year. Wallsend seem like they should be strong too winning by a few against stocko in rd1 so even more impressive.
Cookers keeping it rolling on too, a suburbs win this arvo will see a top 3 forming already.

Good day for the Terrace apart from the Broken Leg. Terrace 1st grade struggling to get off the mark with a win this season, Surprising that with the fire power they have that lack of goals have come.

Only being 3 games in though i wouldn't be assuming anything in this comp just yet as front runners or table dwellers. Any teams struggling with injuries yet?

Anyone on at Terrace got an update on old mates leg? Did he hold up alright? Hopefully doesn't affect life outside of football too much.

    Hi Mate

He had a clean fracture on the lower leg. Will be 12 weeks minimum before he can even think about running again.

He is with the RAAF which im lead to believe look after their employees very well after things like things ( Insurances, physio etc)

Thanks to yourself and Rolo for doing all you can to look after him and get an ambulance the way. It was very much appreciated from myself and from the club

Pity the response time was 30 minutes and the poor bloke was about to pass out from pain but thats out off our control.

He was more worried about if his goal wouldnt count if the game is replayed lol. This was his 1st game for us hahah

Yeh was lucky we had a player in the RAAF who called ahead and sorted his insurance etc.
No worries no one likes to see that serious of an injury. Hate to think how much it would affect me off the field as much as on.
No word on a replay yet. Probably don't deserve one being down 3-1. Was feeling like we were getting back in the game but would have taken a big effort to come back

I'll go with the measured response to your idiotic comment. The Terrace player followed through and collected the Stockton player's leg. Stockton player had actually kicked the ball well in advance of the Terrace player. Absolutely nobody at fault.

No body at fault is absolutely correct, just two blokes trying to go for the ball one got there before the other and then the inevitable clash of legs that unfortunately left our bloke worse of.
