    Easy things to do

But if our opposition stood off us like we stood off even Raheem Sterling would look like Zidane and Hoffman would look like Roberto Carlos
We needed to show more mongrel

The formula point is an excellent one. A solution is needed for that.
The seccos told us the reason for the crackdown is that ONE fan tried to smuggle in vodka before Xmas. So...we punish everyone. FFS...if you want to smuggle in vodka you can inject an orange, hide a pouch in your salad or down your pants!

The other stupid thing is they are also emptying thermos's of tea!

when we did try to press him yesterday (rarely though) he just glided past our players

    I wouldn't call that pressing.

Pressing is an organised pattern of play where your team actually work as a unit to disrupt play

It not 1/2 blokes closing someone down

It the whole side working to pressure the opposition

It may not see the ball coughed up initially but it is a good tool to also slow up progress down the park and allow your defence to settle

As soon as the opposition are within 30 metres of goal every **** should be pressing.

Failure to do so just invites the opposition attackers to find their Mojo

You want to see pressing in effect watch the Smurfs and see how Arne has them squeezing the shit out of the opposition in middle of the park

As a result the ball rarely is getting near High 5 Danny

And when Castro glided past a player yesterday that where your boy Poljak should have been. There too win the ball or put him on his arse

    Either one will do

Danny V is in hot form. We shouldn't shoot when we play Sydney next. He might make saves

Not sure why this is posted here but anyway....

Of the "original keepers" DV is still at his best. Eugene is in steady decline and over the last two weeks Theo looks like he is at the end of the road.

Danny made a great day greater in 2008 - much kudos.
