the current crossings at Stewart Ave, Merewether St and Clyde St are listed as the most dangerous in the state, certainly in the RailCorp administered area

but yes I reckon there should be one at Steel St as well

also, the rail line has nothing to do with Council, it's a state issue - and the NSW government seems to think transport in this area involves the movement of mining royalties to port corporation fees
