That may be true but he also received a nice offer from elsewhere. So either way i feel like he wouldn't still be here, but that conjecture so let's just admit that he left.
I think you, and a few others, need to stop this insistence that this isn't Jones' team and all his faults are actually caused by Scott Miller. It's pretty weak, i know you can do better than that.
Why don't you just say both of them are rubbish but you would like to see Jones given a proper pre-season before you make judgement on him? That is a fair point.
I don't feel Jones hasn't really done anything to change this team. All this talk of exciting football a few others have been mentioning is a bit much for me too, we can't get the ball into the oppositions box, let alone have shots or dare-i-say-it... Shots on Goal. We defend for 60 mins every game because we don't have the skill to keep the ball. Yeah, we have two quick guys this year who are decent on the counter which seems exciting if you forget the rest of the game... (Also, Miller signed the two exciting guys in our team, Lel.)
Jones isn't going to be backed in the transfer market, neither would Miller or any other manager that comes here. We are a piece of Mr Lees football puzzle, our results don't affect his overall strategy. Basically we will be fighting to make the top 8 every year let alone the 6.
I miss the MFKS of like 3 months ago who was all about "we have no excuses not to win the league" and "if Leicester can do it there's no reason the Jets can't."
Do you even watch the games? we are playing the same 4-2-3-1 formation we have been playing for years - except for Jones' 4-4-2 experiment at the beginning of the season which was an abysmal failure. Until he went back to Miller's pre-season 4-2-3-1 which won every game from memory. Jones also tried a 5-3-2 against the smurfs which failed appallingly.
The first change that needs to be made is Jones out.
