Heskey played further back as the link man between the striker and the midfield. He played same same role as Nordstrand has done when he played as the 10 as he did tonight when Sawyer came on

hasn't Jones told vitrually the entire squad they aren't worthy to serve under the greatest coach to ever grace the A-League with his presence, including Boogaard? so is it any wonder so many are regressing as if they were playing under a numpty like Stubbins? just because Jones gets up in a media conference and affirms he's not the problem doesn't mean he isn't the problem...

I rate competence way above stability. We have had stability for the best part of seven years. Good honest stable incompetence. Different managers. Varying levels of incompetence. But incompetence nevertheless.

Agree we do need a long term plan and step one is to get a decent manager with a full off-season to recruit.
