Like all players, he needs to keep improving and play well to get a spot. Having an ordinary 2nd keeper is a terrible thing, puts no pressure on to keep form.
Having 2 keepers worthy of playing 1st team football is very healthy for the team.

Also i think Mullen might have something to say about Duncan being the only one "punished"

Not to mention Hoff/Vujica/Cowburn who won't be playing left back anytime soon either.


And playing favourite's isn't a new thing. Mullen was terrible at right back but kept getting picked as coaches favourite. Moss is clearly a Merrick favourite.

I'm still sifting through redtube videos to see who sets a better wall and their respective diving ability.

You can't just waltz into that thunder dome without your info all on point.

Moss is a good addition.

Duncan and him will provide each other with good competition. Nice to see us sign a genuine no.1 for once. Puts pressure on Duncan, and Duncan's incumbency puts pressure on Moss.

Gotta love the foz... complain for years about our goal keeping ranks, we finally have two good, starting goal keepers on our books and there are people unhappy about it because the keeper who was a part of our leaky defence might struggle to get a 1st team run.

The debate was always about the better of 2 decent keepers.

Duncan was pretty much blame free on the foz for last year.

Now we've got 2 decent ones again and the debate is going to be between them.

I can see this getting ugly if Duncan feels the clubs playing favourites with Moss. Unless Moss is just looking for a holiday - then he's chosen the right club.

Didn't realise I needed study past armchair opinion from keeping threads/abominations before casting a view on a new signing. Possibly I should have clarified the number of f*cks given first.

I am sure changing the keeper from the last placed team with the 7th placed team keeper is going to solve all.
