He makes Hoole look like the real deal.
When he came on to the scene as an 18year old he was the real deal

Good left peg and give him the ball and all he wanted to do was run past his man and whip crosses in

Exactly what you want in a left winger.

Ever since he made his debut for the Socceroos it has been all down hill

Verbeek refused to select him and then he has had everything that made him promising coached out of him by the Dutch Mango sucking brigade

    Messi has mongrel

What I would give to have a bloke with this type of mongrel in our squad

Scores late winner against eternal rivals who's off shirt and gives big ones to the opposition support and then thanks the ref for his yellow card as he goes home and counts his cash

I remember him playing in the Roar youth team and he used to absolutely rip it apart. But I think he may have suffered from being a very talented junior whereby natual ability can take you all the way. As a senior you need to also have a work ethic, a brain, and a winning mentality. Tommy Oar does not tick these boxes.

So... he's a better James Virgili?

He's a more expensive version that's for sure. But yes a few similarities.
