Haven't looked in much depth yet but looks a much improved draw this season with more Fri/Sat games, more night games, only solo trips to Perth and NZ and two night derbies.

Interesting - a few years ago when their crowds were good they said it was because the bulk of their games were at the "family friendly" 5pm Sunday time.

Considering how superior they were with their fitness and pressing last season playing always at night is going to be a big advantage

Two Saturday home games at night?

I can't even remember the last one of those I attended.

Any chance this game on November 23rd a Thursday night by the way is down to some Muppet thinking Thanksgiving is a Public Holiday in Australia??

    Fo SHO.

Probs should support just on the draw alone. They have (prolly accidentally) reacted the complaints from previous yrs?

Would say it has to do with the V8's taking over Newcastle that weekend, so either trying to get Victory in and out before it starts (hotels are chockers for the weekend of it) or try to capitalise on people coming up for the race and get them to head to the Jets as well. Don't think V8 fans are too big on football but I could be wrong!

They won't come if full strength VB isn't available.

    Jets v Bears tonight.

Has anyone ever tried to watch Bar Sports TV via Xbox?

Should be a better of a match

The opposition are basically an u18 or u20 side playing in first grade well before they are ready.

Not surprisingly they coming last in the NPL

That being said we really should be going close to double digits tonight on the score board

Don't care about the score (don't want a loss of course) - just want to see the start of a different style of football.

First hitout so don't expect a slaughter, especially when the young guys come on in the second half.

Agree, Wanna see our new signings get a run and see how Merrick wants them to play

    First hit out or not

The difference in quality should see a slaughter

They are a long way off the pace in NPL so regardless of whether it was day 1 or day 15 of our preparation we should still stuff them good and proper

    Loss??

If we lose this game the players need sacking

If you've got the YouTube app, should be no drama.
