    On another note stat man

This streak of minutes played no goal scored since Nabbout slotted a penalty v Roar and then the wheels fell off etc

Does this game count towards a setting a club record achievement ??

Or is it just HAL games ??

What your take official stat man

It was specifically around league goal conceded when the record was being discussed, but it's a good point.

Given this is a competitive fixture, I'd count it, and I think the likes of Fox will too. But if we score, you can still be your bottom dollar the record will then be raised come Round 1 as "Jets haven't scored in the league for "x" minutes/conceded 19 goals on the bounce. If we lose, obviously the record for number of goals conceded will be extended and they (i.e. Fox) will probably have to decide whether they include the FFA Cup.

So, what chances do people give us in this match?

Predicitons for the starting lineup? I think we will see the staring lineup from the trial against Maitland.

Its like that old saying. Give a statistician a point you want to prove and they'll find the stats to support it.

Based on our lackluster display against the scum and their loss to an NPL side, I expect Adelaide to destroy us.

That's the spirit!! Bring on the season and the banal, mediocre performances..
I'm going in to this game expecting a total fist-pumping.. Anything else is a bonus!

I think the 2nd season we put in a good performance against Perth...pens were just a bit dodge. Last year we never recovered from a poor start but still thought effort was there.

It's part and parcel of being a Jets and 49ers fan. My passing AFL interest is Carlton as well, so I never have high expectations.

I'm keen to see how we play football on a decent surface to start with. Are we the main game on Fox - it would be the Brisbane game wouldn't it?

The cup we have never won.

We have won a toilet seat though so that explains why we have been so filled to the brim with shit since then.

If you have fox, you can log into the foxsports page and view game of your choice from there.
