Actually it's the opposite. Because we've only been doing well for 5 weeks the shit stats still filter to the top. It's tough to find meaningful positives!! Plus I think the last few seasons have pre-programmed me to looking for rubbish.

No matter how badly Adelaide are playing they seem to perk up when we turn up, so I'm thinking a flawless Adelaide display to cap off a 3-0 win and kickstart their season. Boogs to break his red card drought. Hope I'm as accurate as I was with my Mariners v Roar prediction the other day.

    Speaking of stats

When was the last time we scored away v Adelaide??

From memory it a long time

The last time I recall us scoring there was Taggz and that was when Heskey was playing for us

We've won away against Adelaide only 3 times.

    2-1 on 9/11/2013
    2-0 on 4/12/2009
    4-2 on 14/10/2005

Every 4 years we win an away game against them between October and December, so we are due for this weekend.

ACtually, 4 years ago today. 2-1 win as mentioned below and it's the game you recall. I personally don't remember the goal

Scoreres that day were Jaliens and Taggz

Remember watching this game at the sports club at Adamstown. Con watching there as well with the biggest seafood platter I've ever seen.

Carle double and Zelic on the scoresheet as well if I remember correctly.

If I were ever to jump ship from my team on to another - which I wouldn't do, of course - I'd jump to Adelaide. Or City; I really like them, too.

So I really can't lose this round.

Having said that, Adelaide 1-3 Jets. This is the round in which Brown will poke out from the darkness into our esteem.

Adelaide are awful, particularly with Absalonsen injured so we will probably lose.
