Scotty Neville announced he will retire after this weekend's fixture.

Thought he was a solid, unspectatular right full back for us and we let him go sooner than needed. Signed under GvE v2, he also played under Stabbins back in the day - he left after that season as Miller came in. Scored 3 goals for us - his first came against the Gypos.

Made 43 appearances in his 3 years with us as he did his ACL v Varctory in what was the 1000th A-League men's fixture at the time.

So they interview this 'stat's guy' member of the week and not once does he mention plague never being on the podcast.

Does he really even know his history?

    Shameful.

It was edited out. I even dropped a subtle plague hint...didn't make the cut.

Also a mention of Griff, Jobe and Stu didn't get there.

The sooner Trump annexes Australia and drives out our fake news media the better.

Can't believe they did that to you.

The Australian Championship ( National second tier ) start date and format has been announced. Will anyone be interested besides their direct fanbase?

Nuh, grew up watching these clubs in the NSL and there is too much football to watch as it is.

Yep. Because no one else apart from MacArthur have any issues with refereeing.
They whinge about refs in England (at all levels) ffs its not just an Australian problem.

Truthfully, VAR has made refs worse. They are not as sharp and won't make the difficult decisions as they have a safety buffer.

It doesn't help that our league has an "Aldi" version of VAR. Honestly I think the top leagues must have a minimum standards imposed on them (ie minimum number of camera angles and goal line tech compulsory). Don't meet those standards, or can't afford it, no VAR.

Still waiting on Trump's executive order to get rid of the whole thing and go back to pre VAR values and goodness!

Not sure what to make of this. Seemed like Garcia was making some progress to me. Of course, he could have left of his own volition rather than been punted.
