I assume you’ve donated to the foz to keep it up and running also?
Or donate to television networks for watching their broadcasts for free?
    Pay for podcasts?

People are gonna make the most of free stuff and not pay for something they can get for free. If people feel morally
Obliged to go donate towards a cause, good for them. I will part with my money in ways I see fit.

The only real news I like to read via the Herald is news on Local NPL as everything else I can get elsewhere from a league websites, national news websites etc and living in Sydney I have very little use for local news stories.

No, that's gone, too. What you read is what the reporter writes and, time permitting, proof reads. There are no subeditors in Fairfax.

I can forgive typos so long as they're eeking out news I'm interested in and it's not *too* badly written.

    Ray Gatt with another howler.
Crapping on in the paper today that Bolt is gonna sign somewhere in Europe.

Um, Ray, Andrew Hoole wants a word, he might learn you something.

Denni from our 2008 Jets side scored 47 goals in 102 appearances for Valleta FC [the side rumoured to be signing Bolt].

So if that's an indication of the leagues quality I think Bolt would be crazy not to go.

Piss weak standard of football, lots of coin, two year deal, and opportunity to play Euro Challenge Cup / UEFA and open up massive commercial opportunities.

Mariners should wish him well and simply move on if it's legit.

I have said it before and i will say it again. If the FFA give one cent of the marque fund to the Mariners they should be run out of head office never to be seen or heard from again. That money is for footballers with a proven track record not a celebrity trying to make it as a footballer. If the gypo's think the move to give Bolt a deal makes such great commercial sense then it is absolutely on them to fund the experiment and nobody else.

You are on notice Gallop and O Rourke.

I'll file that quote between "No weapons of Mass destruction" and "I did not have sexual relations with Miss Lewinsky".

If you want quality anything you have to pay for it. Do you work for free? If not why do you expect others to. Once upon a time advertising revenue could support websites but Google and Facebook destroyed that. Who is going to report on local news if there are no locally employed reporters? Or do you expect them to volunteer their time for you?
If any of you believe there are still locally employed "reporters", you are well and truly dreaming

At least it's a type of cancer that responds well to treatments/surgeries, and he should still be able to keep himself reasonably fit to carry on playing eventually

    This.
Good prognosis, won’t be surprised to see him playing later this year and sincerely hope he does.
All the best to him, anything C word is a C word.

    So no FTA football anymore?
Are the games still on fox?
Apart from that what a joke this telstra app is, can't watch va computer/laptop, can't cast to chrome all for more $$ than optus sport costs.
Am I missing something about how it can be viewed via app anywhere apart from my phone screen???
