    Markus unloads the truth bombs....

it is incredible how bad the referees are doing.
Asked about the level of the A-League, Babbel replied: “To be honest, weak. “The pace is slow, there are many technical mistakes.
Also, because the training conditions are not good, last season we had to prepare in changing rooms and train in places that had little to do with professional football.
Babbel said the mentality of Australian players surprised him, suggesting many were too comfortable.
There are 22-year-olds who are already playing at (their) fifth club.

I reckon he has called a spade a spade. He has said what most people who have watched the game from the old NSL days to now know.

I recall talking to a bloke at a home game one day from the UK and he was asked what he thought of the A League , His reply was " just like the EPL without the running and the ability " LOL.

Would not surprise at all if this is the case. Some of us on here have been saying for ages now much to the despise of many the HAL is by any KPI heading South.

    Poor management at HO.

Poor officiating season after season frustrating fans no end.

Clubs like ours offering lifelines to revolving door players who just simply aren't good enough with performances you can watch in the cooler months at your local NPL club.

To the best of my knowledge the National team has still not been able to attract a naming rights sponsor since the Caltex deal ceased.

Too many self interested types have talked up the league over the years for fear of being left behind and out of a job if the overall standard of the game was raised in this country.

Why would any corporate type want to tip in money through corporate partnership , sponsorship or otherwise on a product just simply not worth it and declining rapidly.

Hyundai / Kia are the best selling / leaders in Car Sales in Australia [Toyota in front if you count Toorak Tractors and Commercial type vehicles].
Why would they want their brand tarnished by the A-League.

    Holden would be a more suitable sponsor. Reasons;

    Shit Company
    Lack of innovation
Completely out of date and touch with market leaders
    Financial Basket Case
    On the brink of bankruptcy
    Hate their customers
No chance of ever turning things around.

It's a match made in Heaven.

This is all going to go to shit no doubt about it.

On top of any naming rights sponsorship issues and the reduced revenue that may come with just what will the game be worth in regards to the next lot broadcast deals because sure as shit that value will be down on previous.

Some block chain company has made an offer for 80% of perth.

    This seems mighty strange.
