Had to look twice to see it was a trial game - all aboard the bandwagon.
For the rates these pricks are charging me every year we should be getting a UEFA Champions league final.

10 years ago bay 4 was screaming for Hoffs blood, now they adore him. Nothing changed other than results.
They obviously didnt watch him miss two sitters at the weekend did they??

    Lol

Marquees are a waste of money really if you going on name.

Give me Vargas over Heskey any day

FFA are killing the game in this country because they aint catering to football fans

The other week i watched a game in Thailand

    No VAR
Full strength beer at $2 a cup
    $5 entry
Sitting or standing on steel stands not a seat of plastic
Right on top of the pitch
It was a cracking night because it was real football in a shitty ground

Why cant i get this in this country??

Can shove their 30k all seaters and their big name marquees up their arse.

You support the shirt and the shit cunce in it

We dont need to sell the league to Bogan Straya with gimmicks because they dont care

We need to provide the league for football fans in Straya and stop worrying about what others think

Good to see some changes in this area
is that the physio's fault or is it a lack of a proper strength and conditioning coach to specifically focus on injury prevention (as opposed to a physio who probably is more focused on recovery)?

I would be surprised if we do not try and offload Brown next season. Offers nothing as a foreigner, especially now we have signed Ridenton

That to me reads like we are just saying the right things to make him know how much we lobed having him here, in case he comes back to the HAL in a few years time, rather than actually trying to keep him.

Nor would I - especially as we would be silly to not sign an Asian player for the ACL.

Interesting nobody mentions Cowburn in the conversations with midfielders as well.

I wonder who some of the Australian players coming off contract or maybe looking to come back are likely to be during the off-season?

I haven't completely written off Cowburn yet, as he came into a side underperforming as a whole. But he didn't offer a lot while he was there. Potentially is an option as the bread and butter DM, but was outshone well and truly by Kanta and Uga (when he played that role alongside McGree) in that role from what we've seen so far.

Needs to show a bit more to be in the picture for a starting spot imo.

You're right - he needs to show more.

Perhaps he might think his best position is midfield, but his best football for us has been played at fullback. Hoffy was signed as a striker originally but to keep a position in the team had to transition to become a right back. Maybe that's the approach Nick will take next year.
