Wouldn't want to be wearing the black kit on a hot summer afternoon!
In a 10 team comp with barely any kit clashes, why do we need a 3rd kit?

    A clue - marketing.

Why do you need a seperate ACL kit?

Loved the 70's when an Admiral shirt lasted you at least 5 years.

I had Umbro Man U, and Wolverhampton strips. I passed them on and can remember seeing them some ten years later still looking magnificent.

I think my English strip may have been Admiral - and it was pretty good as well - way more comfortable and durable than the shit we see these days.

    Agree

Still have a Newcastle Breakers Shirt

About 99 or so vintage or whatever year it was that that **** Harper missed 2 penalties in the same game

    Still in good nick

Suppose that is what happens when all the clothes these days are made in China and Bangladesh

The in game music seems to have been given the ass. however, the Gypo couldnt help hmself.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your Newcastle Jets CEO.
Newcastle boss Lawrie McKinna differs, saying his club is exploring ways to harness the power of a home crowd during a match.

"We are certainly interested in the ground announcer being part of the crowd," he said.

"Not everyone that comes to the A-League is a mad football fan. Some need a bit of help going berserk and bananas ... a ground announcer could help."

Dont twist Lawries words, The Great Man himself sad they club would refuse to go along with any of the music shit if the Aleague tried to bring it in and Having the announcer maybe learn the words to some of the active support songs and help the crowd get involved could be good thing as long as is done at the right times. Also as far as Im concerned Lawrie is pretty much one of us now and should no longer be known as a Gypo

Yeah, you want the announcer to start screaming NEW CAR SELL over the top of everyone? You're a nutjob.

Might be a new way to get some extra marketing/sponsorship dollars in from any of the car sellers around town?
You ever thought your next move is to get in to advertising, Grim?

Much like the ground announcer whom yelled out Perth Glory's lineup once and said "Knee-Bodge Markovik" for Nebojsa Marinkovic ops:
    OK

If our Gypo CEO comes out and publicly denounces both Hutcho and Simon as two of the biggest scumbag pricks to grace the face of this earth he will go a long long way toward being Newy. Over to you Lawrie.
