Olympic may have lost some players but dont forget they also had a handy squad last season anyway plus were best teams in the u20s and u 18s

I agree completely it doesn’t matter in February!
BUT
they are going through massive changes and massive player turnover at the minute.
They aren’t practically a new team with so much youth and little experience and that’s tough to win with.
They might surprise I’m not sure
I know that majority of the 20s have left for opportunities at other clubs because they were not getting a look in at Olympic
Thomas Cox scored 27 goals in the 20s last year and wasn’t getting a look which is ridiculous so he went to rosebuds.
Same as Luke Rutledge has gone to Adamstown for first grade football as he wasn’t getting a look in this pre season even while Kyle Hodges is out for a lengthy period as he is injured.
I may be wrong but I believe they will be 6th or lowers come finals time

How did Olympic go against Mariners Youth last night? Anyone watch it?
New 2018 competition rules are finally out. A couple of changes clearly aimed at preventing Jets constant breaking of the rules as per last season. If they were exempt, as they claimed last year, why the need to change this year?

Mariners went up 2-0 early and dominated first 30 mins then Olympic went up 3-2 and dominated next 40 mins only to conced late equaliser.
