    Azzurri v Westlakes

    3rds: 1-0
Res: 2-0 (possibly the fastest goal ever in ZL history)
    1sts: 2-0

Another huge upset for the whipping boys of ZL1

Becoming evident who are the weak links in the competition. No surprise cooks hill defeated suburbs. Uni, Wallsend, Morrisset won’t make the 4 in firsts.

Wouldn't be a zone league conversation without someone dribbling something down the front of their shirt every other week.

Considering Wallsend made the finals last year can’t see no reason why they wouldn’t this year

I think Kicktheball is basing it on the fact they are 1 point from 2 matches. Including a 6-1 drubbing from a team that lost 2nd rd and the point they got was vs a team that can't even field 3 grades?

Not the most inspiring first 2 weeks for Wallsend. Still, it's a long season

noticed many Azzurri chaps whinging on the Facebook to Nuatali Nelmes about the state of Smith Park facilities

rightly too as they are utterly shit and look like a third world prison

you guys should hit Newcastle Football and other clubs up about how they pulled their grant submissions together - it's not that hard and definitely worthwhile

I think from the sounds of it a few weeks ago they upped their regos to help sort their own facilities.

I heard they were just getting all their sponsors together to build new facilities, grounds, lights all of it.

All they're complaining about is having to cash in some bitcoins and getting it all approved so construction can start.

Could be an issue with the ATO cracking down on Bitcoin these days. Hopefully the club has a dodgy accountant to help avoid the tax hit!!! Might have to reduce NEW stadium capacity by a few thousand

The fall of bitcoin has really hit the clubs finances hard. That and the lack of movement recently in medicinal marijuana stock on the ASX has put a stop to construction on the purpose built boutique 10K seater planned. Players wages have also been halted or decreased with the marquee going from tailor mades to white ox. The massive spending was always unsustainable. Heads have to roll surely

I heard they were just going to concrete the lot. Sheds, warm-up pitch, playing field. All of it.
