Morrisett and Uni both having players back up, but Morrisett with a total of only 18 players for the two grades so it was always going to be a huge ask.
Uni played third grade up in reserves and a mix of reserves / firsts in the 1st grade game.
For the lack of players Morrisett tried hard and pushed to the end and were unlucky not to put one or two more in against Uni in the first grade game.
Uni missed quite a few chances in both grades, but that's the way with all teams this season across the board I think.

Both teams in first grade will feel they should have put a few more away. Not the best football from either side with conditions making it tough.
Goal of the season contender though with a volley from the centre circle for the Cats' fourth ending Wallsend's hopes of a second half comeback.

The battle for 3rd and 4th looks very competitive. 5 big games upcoming, with the teams fighting for the finals spots playing each other soon.
Would love to see predictions on those finishing in the top 4...
