    Jets Dream Team 2018

So....if all goes well what do you think should be the team to bum root Sydney in the GF?

    My team...

    Moss
    George
    Topor
    Boogs
    Ivan
    Kanta
    Sugar
    Dimi
    Ronny/Pato
    Nabbout
    Roy

    Subs:
    Hoff
    Joey
    Brown
    Johnny K
    Duncan

I bracket the two imports as I think interchanging them through the finals will do Arnie's head in.

Pato and Ronnie will start. Reckon Nabbout could be on the bench.

Ernie doesn't do back threes. He's not as flexible in his formations as, say, GVE. We've been solidly 4-3-3 and we'll stay that way.

Nabbout won't be losing his spot to some fragile South American. He has engines.

Nabbout is incredible, he runs that hard for the full 90. I couldn’t leave him out of my team!

Lack of flexibility in formations don't mean squat if you measure success in the number of completed backpasses to the keeper LOL

This is the closest to what I would put in there. I'm trying to fit Hoffman in and establish balance on the bench and struggling.

Vargas still indefinite and ROy had 7 weeks to go according to last squad announcement

I am suprised that people prefer to go with Johnny K rather than Hoffman.

I'm guessing it's because we need a CM more so than just a right side player?

Hoff's best position has him up against Nabbout, Champness, Rodriguez, possibly even Dimi. Which makes it difficult 4 him even though he's been great this season so far.

Yeah its rough on Hoff. He has done well in attack this year but when at full strength he's not of the same calibre as others we have. Johnny probably has more versatility, being able to fill in at FB (I'd probably prefer Hoff at FB to JK) as well as CM and CB, he even played RM/RW last week.

Id have Hoff over Johnny K in current form. Hoff is a better defender and is offering more in attack

I realistically can’t see Johnny ever getting a run at CM, not here anyway and not for a prolonged period of time.

I agree I just thought he'd be more suitable as a CM than Hoff would. But everywhere else I'd choose Hoff.

I'd like the club to give updates more often than we are currently getting.

Have a listen to the Post Match presser. There is an update in there. It is in this week's Jetstream podcast too
