The Nix rotated their fouling on Rodiguez pretty well

Huge mistake leaving us with 10 when already behind. Boogs should have been replaced if he wasn't able tobreturn quickly. Third goal was clear result of this error.

Duncan can't hold his spot next week. Moss has it all over him right now.

We lack structure with Dimi and Pato roaming everywhere.

Agreed. We looked a lot better after Pato was off the ground. He's still not in tune with how we play.

First ten minutes it should have been all over. Too much Arsenal football and trying to be clever. Some appear to think they are better than they are. An early goal and it would have been different.
Agree if Boogs was going to be more than 2 minutes Jackson had to come on. That cost us points.
I do feel the next few weeks will sort us out one way or the other.

How about the poll.."who is the best player to play for both Jets and Nix"? In real time you could watch Griff appear from nowhere and gradually climb up the rankings to the top.

    well that was an abortion.

had the chances in the 1st twenny but thought we were Arsenal and tried to walk it in.

battled quite well and still pinched a couple. Champo made a difference. Welcome back Dunco ya drunko.

At least bay1 was good value for inflatable tennis with the greasy slimy seco bastards happily busting a move.

Worth watching Merricks full presso to give an insight of where we are at. I think it's a bit rough to give heaps to Boogard. To be fair he had to be stitched after a big gash and still played on. Whether or not being subbed was the correct decision I think big ups to him for putting his body on the line. That's the second time he's played on after a serious headknock. He often cops a fair bit of critisicm whilst leaving it all out there. Similar situation to Hoffman I guess.

he was honking before the cut.
Merrick is at fault for not hooking him.
he was honking when he came back on.

In most ways I agree with you. Poor marking on Mullen. Just think he deserves more credit for wanting to play on. It was Merricks fault for not subbing him. He gave a little insight in his pressers as to why he made that decision and believed be then able to bring Kanta in the middle swung the game in our favour.

and yes i know you all think I'm hating on Boogaard 24/7.

    but.

i found it interesting today in the warm up that not only was he not in any way vocal or 'a leader', but players like Ugabooga, Vujica and Nabbout were the ones reviving the boys up. even doing the little sprint drills he stood at the back of the line and was silent the whole time.

again, I'm not sure how much being a 'captain' matters in sport, but man he showed nothing about being a 'leader' today.

credit though he came back after after full time stitched up to get photos with the kidz.

i mean also, this Thurgate kid.

    genes haven't been kind.

get him a bare blade before he gets famous and people start making fun of it.

Jack Duncan needs to have a word too.

    ditto Kanta.

do it for charity and no one needs to know your motives.

can't believe no one in Jets PR has had a word yet.

Place has gone to shit since Benny left.

Worse decision by Ernie and he should admit it..... the vibes of how the game was going were poor.... if we up by 1 or 2 goals fair enough but we were down by one... and they score that 3rd which killed us...awful decision I think, you got Jackson on the bench, why waiting 10 minutes for great leader to come back...I was going crazy watching that shit....Errnie ****ed up...and should understand Boogs is a liability as the good Member think....

And to totally go against that comment how does strapping himself up and coming back out not show leadership? I'm in no way saying he's amazing or the best captain in the comp but to say he doesn't have leadership qualities and totally ignore the fact he often puts his body on the line is a little harsh.

Duncan will not be retaining the gloves based on that performance today.

    Topor was off his game.

People saying that we played better once pato came off ignored the influence of Kantas return to midfield. Wellington bullied us today and when kanta is in the middle that was nullified a significant amount.. in addition to the fact we stopped turning the ball over cheaply in the middle of the park.

Another game where a clinical finisher and a good keeper (Roy and moss respectively) would have had us win that game. Comfortably.

The next 3 games. 6 points minimum if we are a hope of pipping Sydney.

to be honest i dont think he puts his body on the line any more than Kanta, Topor, Vujica, Nabbout every week.

and i blame Merrick for leaving the team down to 10.
