The big difference which I don't expect you to have but I am allowing myself to speculate on anyway, is how much possession in our half vs the opposition half.

I genuinely believe Dimi Petratos has had more time on the ball this year in the opposition half than our entire squad has any other year.
    OK

Prob even show up in shots on goal/on target to see how much we hanging down that end.

Thats because he takes 4 touches before he passes or shoots

Hahaha. I just see how much more effective Dimi would be if he moved the ball on quicker. Oppositions would be less likely to close him down as well as they wouldnt want to leave space for players around him

When his options are to pass it to Hoffman or Clut as it was Friday night I think best to retain possession than turn it over needlessly

Examples of this would be wingers/fullbacks in behind hitting the byline, counterattacks, breaks, possession in and around opponent's box etc. These are the times when opposition defenders are gonna make desperate tackles leading to fouls, and professional fouls etc to break up play.

An opponent who isn't scared of you when you have the ball will rarely be forced into conceding yellow cards because they can comfortable wait to retrieve possession legally or wait for an error.
And as much as I think Sydney get away with murder sometimes, it also explains why they don’t get a lot of cards, they simply don’t have to make desperate tackles as often.

Lester won the title only having like 6% possession or some shit.

But that 6% was a Mahrez’s feet and he was dope as ****.

That stat is great for showing how much of a dick GVE came across as with his possession nonsense (sorry Stanny).

Because they actually foul further up the park when you get them on the run

They savvy to not do it when it desperate
But they masters of doing the cynical yellow to kill a possible attack before it gets started

Sometimes I wish our blokes would do it more

Friday night Dimi done one got a card in the final few mins

    Money well spent actually

Don't need stats for that anyway

Can see by the lack of cards Boogaard has got to know we spending less time in our box

Can also tell by all those plastic cunce sitting in the stand

They were never there when we go 20-30 mins at home before taking a shot at goal

Jarred Gillett is the referee for the game.

Teams playing Sunday have named their returning U23's. We have not.

Anything over 10 would be good. It’s a 5.30 kickoff against one of the worst drawcards in the league.
