completely agree. I've got free to air and foxtel. I'm not going looking for more things to pay for and not watch a lot of.

Heard from someone who is in the journo industry that Ch7 is the hot tip to take the FTA rights off SBS. Showing live games of the Matildas recently on 7mate shows that the interest is there. He also mentioned that Mel Mclauglin has switched to Ch7 too, maybe in preparedness in taking on more football perhaps?

The next broadcast deal fro the A-League is going to be very interesting. I wonder how much value Foxtel put on it now without the EPL?

So to keep it simple how do you watch a game that is not the match of the day?

At the moment I can watch every EPL game on Fox - what is Optus doing ?

I think you can record with Fetch. They'll have a designated channel I read on kevin Airs twitter

    Getting difficult though.

Need Fox for A-League and Socceroos quals.
Need Bein for Champions and Euro Leagues
Need Optus for EPL and World Cup.

Data usage and speed will be the main problems though I have read already that Optus mobiles can stream data free so a good start.

Might do more work with Kodi.

I'm already thinking of ditching my foxtel package and waiting for a better one between now and beginning of the next A-League season and signing over to Optus/fetch. save some money in between

People need to get a life.

With the amount of time people spend on their phones and the internet and then throw work eating and sleeping into the equation where the hell do they find the time to watch TV??

I struggle to watch a couple of games of football a month.

As for the rest of the offerings I just don't have the time

When you say "moving on to Foxtel".. Is that as in, on the Foxtel platform but you still need to pay for the particular Bein channels?
I'm piggybacking off of my parents Foxtel using their Foxtel Go password to stream through my laptop to TV..

No - I just got the email too.

Bein Sports is absorbed into the Foxtel sports package - no extra subscription. They talk about refunds for current customers from 15th May.

How to watch beIN SPORTS on Foxtel from 15th May 2016?

You're a Foxtel sports pack subscriber

If you have the Foxtel sports pack, the 3 new beIN SPORTS channels will become available to you from 15th May 2016 as part of your pack.

You don't have the Foxtel sports pack

Your beIN SPORTS on Foxtel subscription will end on 15th May 2016. You can upgrade to the Foxtel sports pack for an extra $25* per month to gain access to the 3 new beIN SPORTS channels as well as 9 other dedicated sports channels from FOX SPORTS, FOX FOOTY, ESPN and Eurosport.

Call 131 999 or visit foxtel.com.au to upgrade to the Foxtel sports pack.
    Woo hoo !
