Aaahhhh the good old Sydney win/draw double chance bet in Newcastle.

God it’s made me some cash over the years.

Carney a lock to score too, and I’m legit thinking of betting on someone to get a red.

Poor bloke, as if it wasn’t enough hearing it from the likes of Member and Plague, but now even his knee is piling on.

    Gets no respect.

I'm a closet fan of Boogs. Be a big miss to lose him for an extended period of time. Jackson is decent. Not "title winning" decent though which I think Boogs/Topor partnership is close to. Others would disagree but I think it's the most solid we've looked at the back since North/Dura time

Unlike the EPL, the FFA don't move games around during the season to suit (except for the ACL moves for example - they need a reason rather than be proactive).

For example if this season West Brom were amazingly top of the table with Man City we would see any game between them as match of the round.

Jets were not expected to perform so we got the graveyard shift. I was shocked when I realised that the Melbourne derby was actually the Friday game as I though all along we were the lead in game to that.

Besides this year we've always seemed to roll over for them as well. Since we got rid of the likes of Hoole (pathetic with no heart or testicles) we seem to atleast give them something to think about

This game is very important, not so much for the race to be 1st, or even for keeping 2nd place. It’s more for confidence that if we make the grand final we can beat Sydney. We got close in both games, but in the final close isn’t a win. We’ve never played Sydney with a full strength team which is encouraging but a win this Saturday is a must

This would have to be the worst post ever in the history of the foz

Saturdays result means **** all other than 3 points

The only must win game we have is Rd 27

Beating the Smurfs on Saturday matters **** all.

Rather we beat them in May when it actually matters

If we beat them in May we can lose to them for the next 5 ****ing years for all i care

That smug look on Arnies face comes off in May

    Not ****ing March

so you don't see anything advantagous in beating 1st place who have seldom been beat in two seasons so that the team has confidence that come May when we actually play them we have the belief that we can beat them?

Regardless of win or lose they'll be going into May knowing they can do it, but I know from when I used to play football that playing a team that you generally lost to made it harder to get into that mentality then a team we would generally beat, or at least beat more often then not.

I played in a team that went through the season undefeated....until the grand final. It happens.
