And you should change your Join date from August to Oct 1991: Breakers inaugural month.

you must be thrilled as a Victory supporter not having to have a tricky qualifier against a South East Asian team

I asked Lawrie about it tonight and he said he thought it might be a Thai team and in January.
Who and whenever is it, I don't think we'll f**k it up like Brisbane did.
And we can then revel in more schadenfreude when sh!tney and the Tards stuff yet another ACL campaign.

Have to win two games to get to the group stage.

One against a south East Asian side, then we’ll have to play one of 2 Japanese sides, a Chinese or a Korean side, then we get to the group stage.
    Middleby Gone

I'd jizz all over an emerald and cinnamon.

Is it possible? I'm guessing brown is not an auspicious colour in Chinese culture.

Maybe it's because I've had a day or so to reflect on the GF and I'm a couple of coffees in - but this could be a good thing for us. With the guaranteed ACL spot gone to the Tards and us now having to play qualifiers it might encourage Martin Lee to splash the cash on a quality big name player or two to improve our chances to getting there.

At the very least he'll make sure our shirt numbers stay on.

Well we only got Vargas and Pato to possibly resign, two spots left. I'm pretty happy to keep Vargas honestly, performed up to the quality of those first couple rounds in the semi and grand final, if he's happy to stay I'm now more then happy to keep him. Pato turned it around for me near the end, was consistently quality but I'd be looking at replacing him with a player who is much more of a nabbout esque starting player then anything else

A second striker is imperative - Roy will miss a good chunk of the season and he will need to fight for his spot on return.

I think this as well. Need some competition for him. Also resign both Pato and Ronny. A full offseason for Visa players is so underrated in this league. Watch Pato turn it on if we keep him. We already have seen Vargas' quality.

Probably need to sign an accountant as well to work out how to not get done for breaching the salary cap.

Noted over the weekend that the FFA have quietly reinstated the "Timmy Marquee" rule for next season.
