I think what Merrick portrays to the media and what he says in the sheds/at training are basically night and day

Yep we were dominated but mainly due to our inability to pass and move to create space. So many passes went wrong. it looked like they were playing for the first time together. Players put a foot on the ball and raised their arms, "where is everyone".

The impact of a changing squad has decimated the system.

At the back especially in the air we are non existent. Their is no answer.
