Did anyone go to training today ? It was an open day for the fans at Ray Watt Oval to watch them train then meet and get autographs from the players - if you are into that type of thing.

It's funny, this is probably the first time in a long time i think our team wins on paper against Victory... particularly the depth on our bench!
If our attack cant score against that defence (without Williams) then i'll be extremely disappointed!!
WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY !
Hence why I said that apparently Ticketmaster resale is a legit service endorsed by the double eff aye.
As for scalping being illegal? I dunno man.
But you ain't looking at it from a legal standpoint.
Because if you could get your hands on a ticket at a 10-20 or 30% markup you're paying it and you know it.
You are coming from a 'moralistic' standpoint. Which is fine, but don't confuse the 2.

I'm not sure I'm the one making confusion... e.g. the house example, which really isn't a fitting one
130$ for a football game: probably not. If someone had a genuine "spare ticket" (why would anyone buy a spare ticket anyway???) at face value, I would consider it.
Ticketb*****d resale is a legit business, yes, but they just ALLEGEDLY turn a blind eye on illegal practices.
Enough with my personal ticketing issues/crusades now: let's enjoy the week.
I'll be on my couch, reinvesting 100$ in good food and beverages.
If there is one thing Champers does do well and that is hug that sideline, He ensures we always have plenty of width so not withstanding when he is directly involved in the play he also stretches the defence from one sideline to the other allowing the likes of Dimi and co to do there ad hoc one touch stuff that has got us this far.
If we can get an early one and the crowd gets on the Victory's case i can see us really going on with it. Victory played there GF last weekend.
Kanta and Brown both trained strongly today and both told me during the signing session they felt great.
Must drink the same elixir Boogs has had.

Yeah as JM said he was out there doing his burpees today so Ernie has some decisions to make.
Ugabooga was great last week and if Ernie thinks him screening Topor and Boogs on Berisha I'd be shocked if he didn't want a bit more attack out of that other midfield spot.
Ernie HAS to take the game to them yeah?
Cant see him changing McGree or Hoffs roles. Which is a bummer for Kanta.
Here's a theory - the Boogs injury and Kanta injury have been overstated to put other teams off. Mind games and when they come back "early" it is expected they will be underdone when in fact that isn't the case.
makes for an interesting discussion around the bench

Would Kanta maybe go on the bench over cowburn then? Because I think changing the starting would be very risky, but changing the bench could be possible

Also Williams and theohaurus are out for Victory
I'd be hesitant to put Kanta on the bench, lest we get another Brown situation. If they're in any doubt they shouldn't play - the team that beat City is good enough to do the job.
If we pick them it's one or the other. I don't think we can have two players with injury clouds on the bench. It's fortunate they'd both fill the same spot.
I'd have the same starting lineup and have a bench including:
Noah James (GK)
Lachlan Jackson
Pato Rodriguez
Joey Champness
Ben Kantarovski
