I just don't get the stories i am hearing about members missing out on tickets.
It was clear that tickets went on sale to members at 10am Sunday. It was incredibly easy securing tickets for the first hour or so of that sale.

General public, i understand the anger towards it, 10 tickets is excessive. I suppose next year people will contemplate becoming a member? If it drives membership numbers up then it isn't such a bad move!

I had a shit of a time. Turned out it was because the first PC I grabbed was the missus work laptop and it only had IE on it and the shite program doesn't even recognise cookies properly any more.
So devastated because I had Bay 2, Row B at one point. Now we're in Bay 60 so at least I can watch you mad pricks across the field, just not be part of it all.

I'm in Bay 60 as well mate. You get a reasonable view from there

It's lunacy, isn't it? Wooden spoon, rudderless. 1-1-1 record against first place, into the GF. At home.

    LUNACY.

    LUNACY.
It all seemed to happen really quick too. I thought the wheels had fallen off with the 3 losses and thought it was a bridge too far to Ernie to resurrect us again. In the blink of an eye, we steamroll the scum, come from behind to beat City and here we are hosting the damn final

Everyone laughed at Lee saying he wanted to be in CL within 3 seasons.

Everyone is throwing love to Ernie and Laurie but a shit load should go to Mr Lee. He had a plan and stuck to it and made the resources available and now the big dance is in our backyard

Great point. He copped some flak last season when many were suspect of how serious he was going to take the ownership. Full credit must go to him in how he has approached this season - appointing the right staff, giving them authority to make decisions and giving them the financial backing; providing funds to sign Vargas as a marquee (moot point, but had potential to be one of the finest players we've seen had he not been injured); signing an injury replacement marquee player when he did get injured (not sure if injury insurance is common or not but that proved very shrewd if not); bringing in McGree as another injury replacement who has been a huge part of our last third of the season.

This on top of things such as the scholarship program funding and opportunities in Portugal for the youth.
