It wouldn't be the first time the Germans underestimated an opponent in Russia.

We still scored the same number goals, Etebo just got his directions wrong in the first half. They didn't even have the home kit on, they'll play with it this week and take care of those plucky Icelanders. Then just got to walk over Argentina and we're through. So easy.

Finally, the Super Eagles are back on track to win the world cup. Argentina won't have a coach or any players left before the next match so that should be easy.

Sorry Plague. Instead of enjoying watching your pam-enforced 2nd team waltz their way to the final, and inevitably lose, you've got to watch them go out at the first hurdle with no goals scored... and then suffer the indignity of PV4 and myself fighting it out in the final.

At least Leroy George didn't make it to the world cup, that's a positive isn't it?

Oh yeah. I forgot about that one. My apologies.

In my defence it's hard to remember any Argentinian players other than Messi... Which should be interesting when he retires from International football next week. As well as Biglia, Banega, Mascherano, Di Maria, Aguero if you believe the papers.

    Might not need to retire

That result last night has set it up for them

Beat Nigeria they be about certain to be through

I cant see the Iceland side beating Croatia

What though is though possibly an issue for us is France now have the ability to pick their Rd 16 opponent

If Argies come 2nd they would play Winner of Australia group

Maybe the French may prefer to play Croatia??

    Easy to achieve

    Come 2nd

Let the Danes win rest players focus ahead on Rd 16 v Croatia

Which of course would **** Australia over

    Starting to ger intriguing

    Cros always the same

Likely to beat an Italy Brazil Argentina etc

Then throw it away against a Denmark Australia England type

I dont think the French would fear them
But I think they be more worried about Argentina than Croatia

    Deschamps is a weak ****

Anyone who fears Argentina at this point needs to be instantly eliminated.

My fear is more that France & Denmark will still be 0-0 after 60 minutes and both teams will settle for that and run the clock out.
