as usual, a team hits form for 3 mins in a season full of woe and its right when we are due to take them on.
only hope is that Plague Jnrs late kickoff on saturday means ill miss the game.

wheres our end of season trip at this year boys? surely its time to get details finalised?

14 goals for every 500 cut-back-and-shoots.. Not bad..

Ernie hinting at looking to the future with his WSW lineup in today's Herald article.

Vujica, Thurgate and Champness likely to start this weekend.

Worst kept secret of Gorgeous George likely to head to WSW.

Roy believed to be tabled a 1 year deal.

Simmons and Langlois likely to see some time over the next few weeks.

Ernie winning some games might be the best way to get the plastics like the Member to come back next year.

So if Vujica is likely to start, is DG getting dropped? Or Johnny?

Champness comes in for Jair I assume. Will Jair get on the bench?

How does Thurgate fit into the starting lineup? Does Vargas return to start?

How do you feel about Roy being offered a one-year extension (as rumoured)? too little, too much or just right?

Jack Simmons on the bench - who drops out? Sheppard? Ridenton? Cowburn?

Offering Roy one year is a fair compromise. Full preseason and into it. That suspension killed his season....honest, I don't think we'll find better this off season.
He is the sort who would go to the new club and score 20.

I highly doubt it at his age and temperament. But if he resigns he cant be the main guy

Guess that rules Luis Suarez out as well.

The sad part is of your statement that you don't think we can find better

The bloke offers little more than tap ins and running around

Other than that he offers no aerial threat no speed in behind no hold up play and no actual skill

I think as a striker for a team wanting to be 7th then Roy is your man

If you want more then there is no way in the world you aren't backing your scouts to find better

The sad part is we will sign him because we too lazy to look elsewhere

This x 1000. I think the league has seen the best of Roy. He is not a third of the player he was last season and not all of that can be attributed to his suspension.

Time to move on from Roy. If we can't find better than Roy then those in charge of doing the finding should move on also.
