First transfer window is open and the first big movers are Edgeworth, re signing Keanu Moore and Nate Cavaliere from the Victorian Npl. 2 big signings as the Eagles try and equal the record by winning 5 premierships in a row. They could definitely do with a new keeper, with the current custodian costing them dearly again Charlestown and Maitland

I’d hate to be an edgy junior knocking on the door of first grade, they’ve just been pushed back a few rungs

I wouldn't say their squad is old. They have a good balance I think. only a couple of high-quality players over 30 ( Mcbreen, Evens, Rose I think). The rest of the squad is in their prime or young.

I think the youngsters there would benefit greatly from training with and modeling themselves on the players mentioned above more than playing regular first team football. If they are good enough they'll get a go at Edgeworth this fact has been proven there.

i get your point but McBreen closer to 50 than he is to 30.

no shade, i just wanted to point out that that dude is still flying round trying bicycle kicks at his age.

He should be in a home or something.

If that is the case, you should make a comeback...

Aren't they just in a rebuilding phase , so results don't matter to the club ?
They are just developing young players aren't they ?

I've also heard whispers 10th place Valentine are looking at improving their position on the points table are in discussions with one of 7th place Hamilton coaching staff, give Peter McGuinness record of leaving clubs mid season, maybe he is on the move.

Doesn't help anyone sacking a coach mid season, Olympic have been competitive, who knows maybe luck will turn. Still doesn't quash the rumor of discussion with Valentine.

Maybe they are negotiating a ground share arrangement. Hamilton have been looking for some refugees to improve their bid in gaining funding/grants for ground works at Darling St.
