    49 49 undefeated,
    49 49 I say,
    49 49 undefeated,
    Playing football the Arsenal way...

    Change to

20 games 20 games, with the one win
    20 games 20 games, I say
20 games 20 games, with the one win
    Playing football the Stubbins way...

Sung to the tune of CCR Bad Moon Arising

    Lyrics roughly translate to

“Brazil, tell me how it feels,
to have daddy in your home.
I swear that even as the years go by,
    we’ll never forget.
    How Diego dribbled,
    and Cani[ggia] ****ed you
You’ve been crying since Italy until today,
    you’ll see Messi,
bring the cup back to us.
    Maradona is greater than Pelé.”

Basically reminding the Brazilians about the 90 WC when Argies sent them home

Wouldn't be bad to twist a few words around to constantly remind the Gypos about 24-2-08
Wankers currently doing something to the tune of bad moon arising. Told you we should have got on it

They've been singing "from the streets of western sydney" since their first game at cook park..... When they only had 6 players.

And I think you'll find the RBB founded the CCR

We have Chase the Sun incorporated in a different chant - whoa (hands up) shush by capo, 1 2 3, New-ca-stle (clap x3) which leads into CTS

the Doop song could work though

I did think about this after the off season myself. We do lack a goal celebration song which in my opinion will help people around us joining in. However our version of chase the sun is good & went well on saturday

Since our goals are few and far between i thought this would be appropriate.

You could always switch it to a goal song if you wanted to. Just thought it would be a good chant that the rest of the crowd can pick up. It doesn't really bother me what it is but hearing how well victory does their Seven Nation Army one I thought there could be something easy for the crowd.

    never been done before etc

All round the Fields of Turton Road
Where once we watched king Kenny Boden play (and could he play)
We had Griffo who was King
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Turton Road
