Terrible ground? It was in superb condition at the Jets v Mariners pre season trial. It can't have gone to hell that quickly. The facilities seem better than Magic Park from what I have seen.

Correction - I meant Sportsground, not Showground.

Please Roundball, where are you suggesting? Who in their right mind is gunna fork out 8 or 15k on extra lights! Magic Park is the only option, That's why !!

It will come down to whether or not Maitland Council will cover the lighting costs

    Council? Local gvt? Sponsor(s)?

No need for all the money to CONTINUE to flow to the richest club in Newcastle, so they can continue to get richer.
Rather the money ends up elsewhere so we have more than one club with 'good enough lights'.

Latest I’ve been told with someone connected to club is have asked Council to fund lights the council very reluctant. It now depends if it’s a broadcast game as $16k to get to 200 lux wHo knows what to get to 500 lux fo Tv. Won’t go to Magic Will go to Edgy or Baddley Park Cessnock.

Good win by Edgy last night. 3-0 on the road and into the last 16. Hopefully they get a home match against an A-League team in the 16.
