Baumjohan may not get many games for Sydney. Could be worth a look.

Welsh has been the best player in SA NPL for the last 3 years, especially considering we have signed 2 players that have come out of that competition in Yuel and yengi (same club as welsh)
Welsh played one season with the Jets in 2014/15 with 16 games.
Clearly he is alot better player now.
Isn't he the one that barely looked like a footballer but got game time because he was from Adelaide, same as Phil Nubbins?

Yes and he came on at the death against the roar as we defended a set piece and with the his only touch put it in the back of his own net.

I can only hope that a post from someone who shall remain nameless saying Welsh was a future Jets captain was on an old version of the Foz

Herald reporting we've signed 19 yo Luka Prso who is an attacking mid on loan from a second tier Croatian club.

May be a sign that GVE is coming back given Peso played under him in the national under 20's.

I hope not either but on the back of this signing and reports he has been seen watching training often signals he might get the job.
For mine, the guy can obviously coach. But he is very set in his ways, I still remember him flicking Kasey Wehmann, a brilliant footballer.

IMO it would demonstrate a total lack of vision on " entity's " behalf to look backward to a coach who has already had two cracks.

If " Entity " want too move forward not considering this bloke would be a good start. I would go so far as too say GVE is the lazy option. Anybody who took the time to watch out football in his second stint at the club would remember watching paint dry or the grass growing was more entertaining, That is unless you like watching your football where most of the game is pent watching passing practice between the fullbacks and keeper.

If memory serves me correctly keepers were our player of the year during that time because they were the most involved, Blokes further up the park stood around catching colds while we played tiddly winks in the back third til we turned it over and conceded.

If Entity wants to ensure we are really competitive with them (ha), they will sign GVE up straight away.
