We also got another wooden spoon in that time as well

This is how bad of a job that is being done. We sacked a manager then took 5 ****ing weeks to replace him whilst any chance of salvaging the season was frittered away

You think he doing a great job??
Also made our 2nd GF, this time without Griff, so fmd that’s a decent achievement.

There hasn’t been much to cheer about in our entire existence.
But him and Merrick gave us a season in the “top 3” best seasons we’ve had.

As long as Simon, Mrdja or Hutchinson don’t play for or work at the club do we really care about all the others. Players swap clubs between rivals all around the world. You just don’t want the ones we have hatred for. It’s a 10 team comp only so your going to get players moving between rivalries. I bet Sydney supporters weren’t carrying on when Kosta Barbarouses signed from Melbourne.
As for Ibini at the end of the year if he plays like dog s@&t or plays 1 game and is injured the rest the go your hardest but he wears our shirt now so how about we get behind the guy and reserve judgement till he’s played for us.
We want him to try his guts out for us if he read this forum I wouldn’t blame him kicking the ball in our own net ripping his shirt off to have a mariners shirt under with F U Member written on it.
Give the guy a chance so he wants to put in for us

From ridentons point of view I see this as career suicide to accept a payout unless he has something like mls lined up.
What other transfer windows are open?

He's well-thought-of in Wellington, but I think they've moved on (football-wise) from what he offers. I could see him heading to Macarthur or even Victory.

Seeing Kosta Petratos on the field recently makes me wonder why Ernie didn't give him more opportunities. He's very good with the ball at his feet and doesn't have any problems beating players one on one.

I read about a very weak rumour that Ibini has a gentlemans handshake with Macarthur next season. I would laugh very heartily if that's the case and he just uses us to get fit again.

Yeah I just mean being able to move outside the window. Overrated kiwis seem to find a way in america

I wonder if that's like the gentleman's handshake we had with Carle and Nabbout...
