Now, with lots of people and businesses without solid income, will they want to pour some money into a sponsorship or keep it for themselves/their business/employees.
So without that sponsorship income, a few clubs may be in trouble.

Much the same as the NRL and AFL standing down personnel.
Club outgoings should be near wot they get in rego fees. Sponsorship should b treated as a bonus not income. If clubs be paying wages and employing staff on decent $$$ they better b having a plan B. If not they best b ripping up contracts & telling paid staff they a amateur club. Back 2 basics. Spend wot $$$ u got on youth & seniors play for glory. Simples.
