The highest number of retained players I've heard of so far is 8 in that age group. Anyone got any teams who have retained more than that?
I believe Magic have retained most but are losing a couple to the Jets. My spirit guide told me Valentine have also retained 8 and Edgeworth 10.

People don’t say that I am scary. They just say I am loud. I don’t apologise for that because I think there should be more vocal supporters. Jeepers creepers yeah!

I am talking about the 12 year old former Jets kids playing in U13 NPL. Magic had a few and 2 of them (to my knowledge) have been selected for the 2021 U13 Jets.

    Hey CC
all for being vocal, and supporting your team, however the crap I was hearing on bartv , was over the top, annoying and comments you would expect from a 2 year old.

I am so sorry you are offended by these but in future I will do them more often and louder. I am so glad I got some great publicity and I appreciate the work bartv does. God bless Valentine.

Ah. That makes sense! Will be interesting to see how those 13s will go now they aren’t coming through from the jets SAP program now it’s changed.

I cheer at games and people attack me for that. I defend myself. That is not rubbish. That is me exercising the 2nd amendment with my right to bear arms. I will be at the Adamstown vs Valentine youth games tomorrow morning (unarmed). I will be cheering there. Come say hello and we can talk about youth football.

I don’t think anyone has a problem with people supporting or being passionate about the teams they support. I’ve enjoyed reading some of Carl’s constructive comments regarding valentine in some other threads.

A bit of banter doesn’t hurt, but when it turns into pages of petty stupid comments it gets a bit much. Especially when insults starts to become personal, a few of you probably have an idea who Carl is (based on comments) and I doubt he/she knows who you are, so I think personal attacks and inappropriate comments are a bit unfair.

People are entitled to opinions and occasionally they differ to the norm, which isn’t a bad thing. Respect it, reply constructively and let’s not stoop to a level below the ages being discussed here.

Home teams don't matter in youth semis. They play them at the same ground regardless of who makes it or who doesn't.

Certain grounds get more use over the years than others. Magic, Darling St, Edgy and Weston are regular hosts. I'm sure it is about ground quality...

As for the times, I would guess that it is to accommodate the travelling of the Mid and North Coast teams and to allow fro extra time and pens (if required)

I thought host was based on highest placed U16 team. Meaning Olympic and Jaffas would host. Stand corrected if wrong.

Kick off times make no sense as North Coast and Mid North Coast have been playing away games at 9am and 3pm all season. Unsure what moving them to 10am and 12pm achieves but impact other teams and age groups. Can't be due to extra time either as all games have normal 2 hours with kicks off being 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2pm instead of normal 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
