    Haha
Wonder how much history he went into when researching. For instance, had he heard about the star wars figurines..

Can he use his world wide network of contacts to source jet shaped hats?

Does he favour a sleek and lethal shaped jets hat or a more comical bulbous jet shaped hat?

    Hi Furns,

Love the pod mate. Keep up the great work!

My questions to Carl would be:

    1. You were quoted as saying you would be looking to bring in young Australian talent to boost the squad. Will you be looking locally, or nationwide? Will current Jets youth players be given opportunities?

    2. Will he be implementing a scouting network at the club? This is normal at British clubs, but is not well established at A League clubs. If 'yes', will the scouting network extend to NPL players, players in Asia, NZ, or even further afield?

    3. Does he intend to get out and watch local NPL games (when COVID restrictions allow)?

    4. How far does his role reach within the club - will he take an interest in the Jets Youth set-up, for example?

    5. It is normal for clubs in Britain to have academies that develop kids from 8 years upwards? What does he feel about the Jets not having their own development system for kids this young?

    6. Did he read Rob Sherman's departing article about football development in Australia? If so, does he share a similar view?

    7. Would he like to see the Jets have more direct contact with local NPL clubs, for example, inviting the better 1st grade players in to train with Jets, so to be aware of talented players coming through?

    8. Does he think the Jets establishing 'feeder clubs' within the local NPL league would be beneficial, considering the Jets Youth have now moved to play in Sydney?

Sorry for all the thoughts. Just a quick brain dump of things I personally am interested in!!

    A
