I've got a warm glow after that game. It's good to get some normality back.

I am a hoffman fan but we can't seriously be paying him fir that performance.
Dimi did absolutely nothing either which for his wage is unacceptable.

The shit show Jets abortion train has arrived at the station.

CCM: a "team" with no talent or ambition, whose biggest pleasure this year is putting an end to the Jets' hopes to reach the finals with this 0-0 (as stated by their coach before the game).
Pressed all game to win zero balls, then got 11 men behind the ball to kill the game. What a sad way of playing football...

We should be able to win these games anyway.
Great possession but we're still slow and predictable, couldn't get a ball to Roy.
Let's hope Ibini stays next year.

Stajic certainly ticks all the ccm scum boxes. Absolute disgrace to play in such a negative way.

That was a fairly uninspiring performance from all concerned. As mentioned during the broadcast and on here in a previous post with all possession and dominance Roy seen SFA of the ball, That is a real issue Robbo needs to sort.

Lets also hope in the off season Millar gets himself a football brain, Some of his decision making is atrocious. Quite often it is like watching Chili all over again, Touch run dead end or turnover.

I also though our approach was pretty one dimensional from Robbo last night. Unlike v Sydney where there was a real sense of urgency in the play and the subs last night looked cruise control with the driver asleep.

The Mariners dragged us down to their level. We gave them too much respect rather than simply playing direct and getting players into the box.
The jets looked like they were ticking boxes to meet KPI's - unfortunately not the goal one.

His final ball is the difference between him being an OK A-League player and one of the top right backs in the league.

Can see O Toole being handy also once he rids himself of this as the member would put it " dutch mango sucking style football " . GVE would have been proud of the kid looking backwards and passing when he had acres of space to carry the ball forward.

I have not heard any post match comments from Robbo but i would be concerned if he said they played to the plan and the only thing missing was a goal. Defensively all the scum had to do all game was get numbers behind the ball and shift as a unit from one side of the park to the other to nullify anything we threw at them.

Also his constant switching off in defence

    thought he looked good too.

the whole defensive line was seemingly instructed to keep swinging the ball across the back line if they didn't see anything ahead.

Carl's post match presser is up on fox webpage.

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a-league.

He was pleased with the performance and how we played - but not the result obviously.
He said we weren't good enough in the final third and need to work on it.
He said Dimi is still not fully fit.
Bernie was in doubt before the game so they only expected 50min or so from him.
Carl thought Uga was our best player.
Millar is in doubt - season might be over for him.
