    A League Game Week One

I wrote a thing, happy to hear how wrong I am.

Western United v Adelaide United (7pm AEDT 28/12)
A solid competitive game to kick off the league, the class and settled nature of Western United’s squad should see them getting all three points. Watching Alessandro Diamanti combine with new signings Lachlan Wales and Victor Sanchez should be a highlight of this game. Adelaide were victims of Carl ‘the snake’ Robinson’s transfer policy, with key player James Troisi heading to WSW leaving a gap in Adelaide’s midfield. This combined with a lack of an experienced goalkeeper between the posts is a cause for early concern for Adelaide, but they should improve as the season goes on.
    2-1, Western United win.

Brisbane Roar v Melbourne City (7pm AEDT 29/12)
Melbourne City are title contenders, Brisbane Roar have invested in youth. This game should be quite an enjoyable and open game with plenty of goals. However, City will just be too good with J-Mac starting his journey towards this seasons Golden Boot. As I have written with a few teams, Brisbane will improve as the season goes, the squad settles, and the younger players get more experience. This game is Brisbane’s first home game at Dolphin stadium since they announced the move away from Suncorp, it could be their fortress going forward if things go their way. Melbourne City have one of the most complete team lists in the league (with Sydney FC, Macarthur FC and Western United) and will be competitive in every game they play this year, the only question will be around their coach Patrick Kisnorbo and if he can lead the team to where they should be.
    3-1, City Win.

Western Sydney Wanderers v Macarthur FC (7pm AEDT 30/12)
The first Western Sydney Derby and it should a juicy one. Macarthur have one of the best squad lists in the entire league, Wanderers have acquired Carl Robinson and with him a slew of players eager to play under him. Western Sydney have done a lot of their recruiting closer to the start of the season and will take a couple of games to find their groove, and like Adelaide, lack an experienced goalkeeper. Macarthur have put together a roster that will push for the top 2, the potential of the Benat/Susaeta combination is nothing short of mouthwatering, tune in for the Bulls and you will be entertained.
    2-1, Macarthur to Win.

Central Coast Mariners v Newcastle Jets (7pm AEDT 31/12)
The F3 derby, both teams are in a bit of trouble and looking to prove the doubters wrong. The Jets have no owner and no full-time coach, the Mariners have lost a lot of players and have not really replaced them. Both teams need to get the win and need their young guns to fire, the game should be a fiery one like most F3 derbies but not a lot is expected from either side for the rest of the season.
    1-1, Draw.

Thanks Clarkey, but 0/2 so far.

Tipping the coast over Newy is always a crime.

Not best start for tipping, I forgot that Lachlan Wales is massively overrated... Delianov was excellent for Adelaide in goal.
We'll see how City go tonight, surely the get they get the points.
Nothing would make happier seeing the Jets murder the filthy coast scum.
