Pride? RIP. Would like to know where all the Wallsend youth are ending up. On ICE?

Cause this club should be better than this purely on a location basis.

Not many Suburban teams out West.

Add a few more Clubs to this list of abject failure. Look at the table, Wallsend, West Wallsend, Cessnock, all famous clubs with more Socceroos than most local clubs and now serious speed humps in Youth and Senior football. What's the excuse? Demographics, surely not.

Hard to quantify in Newcastle unless a Coach has a baseline budget and gets decent results. Cash is king.

Well done to sillsy. Stags without smith, McPherson, Purcell, Fittler and cook done his hammy early. Westy May had players missing as well …. Anyway young boys put up a good effort, hopefully can get some back for Belswans on Saturday

Stags continue their run with a 4-1 win over SingoÂ… With no Pete Macpherson or Zane Winslade.

Is this the year the finals drought ends?

One game at a time. Belswans on Saturday will be a great test. Scott Smith missing after being given the softest straight red in history, seemed that live and can’t change my opinion after watching the game over again. Absolute terrible decision. 2-1 up when stags lost him and finish 4-1 winners ( a man down ) awesome effort, now they have to back it up at home v the leaders.

NL, Belswans, Toronto and Thornton. Points are dropping week to week below the top 3 and the rest are making it interesting amongst themselves but a clear divide exists. Interesting aside from Cessnock and Wallsend. I would love to be a fly on the wall at those Committee meetings. Planning for 2023.....where does one start. No quality in any Youth division, Seniors horribly poor. Surely Northern see this. Singleton Res apparently lost to NL 18s midweek. The whole comp is a cluster and if the Second Div is not strong the top is in trouble.

Slight problem with the Clubs mentioned, Stags, Cessnock, Westy. Their management can't put competitive programs together in NL1. Stags can't field Youth teams. Year after year, all of these Clubs mediocre. If postcode is the key to promotion, are they parachuting some cashed up smart Committee people too? It should be NL, 5 years in NewFM/NL1, looks like 3 titles after today's results and Youth teams who beat NPL teams now in pre season without recruiting to do so. Financially secure, own Club. Yes ground needs work but it looks like that is being done now with the excavators working overtime the last time I drove past. Its a done deal. 12 team NPL 2023 enter another Eagles signed sealed delivered.

    Westy v Singleton
    0-4
Westy were very poor against a well organised Singleton side who counter punched to perfection
