They have always been so up and down. Would be a shame to lose them even though it’s the worst away game of the year.

    Who would replace them

New lambton? Mereweather, Wallsend one of those 3 surely.

Beresfield have announced on their FB page that the club has now been closed down..
    It's football, not s***er!!

Wasn't unexpected. Unfortunately you can't run a club without support and noone seems like they were forthcoming with it for them which is a shame.

As much as we joke about having to play there it is a shame to see them go.
The next question is who will replace them

I’d assume either Wallsend/new lambton or merewether will come up. Wallsend most likely

Hearing rumours that it’s Merewether coming up. Any confirmation on this?

Maybe it should be Newcastle Croatia, given the team they are putting together in the lower zone leagues.

Their First Grade would be up to it, however Reserve Grade is lacking quality.
