No back up plan for semi finals football? Who’s on Speers point today? JDL? Northern should just come out publicly and say they don’t give a **** about NL1 now and are only using it for fees to feed their pockets!
    Correct

    1. Not you bozos

    2. Correct. Northern couldn't GAS about most comps and think of their pocket before what's best for footy in this area.

They are going to kick off other comps? They didn't even do it for NPL teams so guess they don't care about their top grade either.

Of course BelSwans actually requested that they still host their games (after all don't want to lose out on the money it brings).

Hypothetically …. What GF would create the most interest

    NL V Kahibah
    NL V Belswans
    NL V Toronto Awaba
    Kahibah v Belswans
    Kahibah v Toronto Awaba

    I like number 5

Would hardly call a 2 game gala day for JDL teams a comp.
And fair enough Belswans get to host it but what if the grounds still shit tomorrow? I bet there’s no back up plan for if it pisses down rain tomorrow

Hearing that could be some significant change at New Lambton next year both player and coaching staff wise

Based on what I've heard from some of the current players, it is more likely the opposite. Certainly they don't have plans to bring in as much new blood as cookers did.

Yes... well that's what cookers thought too, until the first transfer window opened during the season and they signed 6 players because they were way out of their depth.

Belswans ended Stags season tonight 1-0. NL walloped Kahibah 6-0. I am thinking NL are 3 or 4 away from being competitive in NPL if they think they are retaining most. Competitive 7/8? Word around is they have targeted an ex Jet as a marquee as a connection to their Board. Coach stays. CZ next to him. Some Jets Youth and their better Youth. Not a bad start. Hopefully Northern sort out their Zone mutiny and get on with fixing the second tier. It needs immediate attention.

While a valid point, tanch had already started the clean out the year before.

After a 6-0 win. How does that happen. You can’t be blowing up at the ref

There were red cards for both a NL and Kahibah after a scuffle with about 10 to go. It looked like handbags really and I think both players had only just come on. There was nothing after the game as far as I saw.

3 good finals yesterday at Kahibah
18s. Close game. Although the score was 3 - 0 to Belswans, all that separated the two were 2 set pieces and a third when Westy chased the game. Belswans won't challenge New Lambton next week if they play like that.
Ressies. Good win to Kahibah marred by some pretty weak officiating. Kahibah v Belswans next week will be close.
Firsts. Fast paced game with no team given the chance to "play". Very tight in the middle of the park. Belswans hit the post twice and finally got their goal from what looked a pretty clear off side. Belswans v New Lambton next weekend should be a close run thing.

Congrats to Belswans for making the GF in all three grades.

That's a brilliant result for the club, no matter the outcome of next weekend. All of their Youth teams look like they will be playing finals too.

It was an old fashion semi final with both teams very tense and looked more worried about not conceding more than trying to score
